Frequently Asked Questions
Are the shorts really squat-proof?
Yes. The midweight performance fabric and stay-put fit are built to stay opaque and in place through squats and deep range of motion, so you're not tugging at anything mid-set. They hold their place instead of riding up when you bend.
Should I get the Legacy or the Studio Flex short?
Go with the Legacy if you want a sculpted, seam-free compression short that disappears under everything. Choose the Studio Flex if you want pockets, a longer 4-inch inseam and a bit more coverage for training and everyday wear.
What sizes do the women's pieces come in?
The women's shorts currently run S through XL. They fit true to size with a high-rise, secure waistband, so most people order their usual size and size down only if they want maximum compression.
Can I wear these for both lifting and running?
Yes. The four-way stretch and locked-in waistband move with heavy lifts and stay put through a run, and the stretch slit on the Studio Flex adds room for a longer stride. One pair covers most of what a week of training throws at it.
Do the shorts have pockets?
The Studio Flex Short has two deep front pockets with water-release ports inside, so a phone or keys stay put. The Legacy Training Short is a clean, seamless compression short with no pockets.
How do I keep the stretch from wearing out?
Wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang dry or tumble low. Skip fabric softener and high heat, which slowly break down four-way stretch. Treated this way, the fit holds for the long run.
Do the crop tops ride up during training?
The crop tanks and tees are cut close through the body without clinging, so they sit where you put them through overhead work and pressing. The heavyweight crops hold structure better under load, the standard crops run lighter for hot days.
